The Vice Chief of Operations oversees and Coordinates the all the Elangomat and Ceremony team activities. He oversees the youth Elangomat Coordinator and Ceremony team coordinator at the Spring and Fall Conclaves. He also oversees several lodge committees. |

Matthew Hunter was born in Farmington, NM. His favorite
food is baby back ribs and his favorite color is green. When his isn't too
busy scouting or serving the lodge as VC North he likes to spend time with his
girlfriend Rachel. Matt attends Farmington High School where his is
involved in Band and works as the manager for the wrestling team. He also
served as the Band President and achieved A and B Honor Roll through high
school. His favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers and his favorite
quote is, "Life is Like a football you never know how it is going to
bounce."- Vince Lombardi
Matt has achieved many honors in scouting including Eagle Scout with Double
Silver Palms, Founders Award, and the Vigil Honor. He has served as his
troop's scribe, Troop Guide, SPL and Patrol Leader. He has also served as
the Crow Chapter Chief and Lodge Training Chair. His favorite scouting
memory is Florida Sea Base in 2005 and rafting in Glenwood Springs, CO.
