About the Vice Chief:

Joshua Hone was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  As a native of the state he says his favorite food is Chili and when asked the state question "Red or Green?", he says he'll go with the green.  Even though his chili preference is green that's not his favorite color.  Josh likes blue which is also one of his school colors at La Cueva.  Here Josh participates in Speech and debate, tennis, basketball, and stundent senate/council.  Josh was honored at school as Student council president student of the year runner up.  When asked what band he likes he says there are just too many of them.  Josh lives by the quote "Carpe Diem".

Josh has also been involved in scouting for many years.  Before crossing over to Boy Scouts, he earned his arrow of light.  josh went on to become a Patrol Leader and an ASPL of his troop.  He has also served on Brownsea staff for 2 years.  Josh considers one of his biggest scouting honors as being part of the OA.  In the Lodge he has served as VC South.  He also served as CVC of Special Events for the 2008 Section W5A Conclave.  When asked what his favorite scouting memory is Josh responded by saying, "wow.... hard one... there is so many of them. I'll just name a recent one. Camp Emerald Bay in California was astounding, but Brownsea still tops the list."
